The new Xorg 7.1 compatible drivers for nvidia cards has been released.  Version 1.0-8774 can be found at http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html

Just need a new ebuild to reflect this and a modification of the current x11-base/xorg-server ebuild to depend on x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-1.0-8774 for nvidia support.
