Unset:  CTARGET, EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS, INSTALL_MASK, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, LINGUAS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS, PORTDIR_OVERLAY


After updating the baselayout to the latest version (baselayout 1.12.4-r6) the screen goes blank after kdm is started.

This problem does not occur, if I start kdm manually on console.

Set XSTATICVT="no" in /etc/conf.d/xdm and try again.
