Description Ryan Hill (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-17 22:22:20 UTC
current stable sci-visualization/epix-1.0.0 fails to build with GCC 4.1 (bug #135266). if possible, please stabilize >=sci-visualization/epix-1.0.7 as GCC 4.1 will be going stable on amd64, ppc, and x86 for 2006.1.

thanks ;d

epix-1.0.7 built all the samples on amd64 and appears to work nicely.
same for epix-1.0.10

Any progress on this? We need this ASAP for bug #140707. If no response is made before Sept 1st we'll be taking it upon ourselves to CC archs and get this bug resolved.

thanks :)

    in x86 gcc4.1

    1) emerges fine
    2) passes collision tests
    3) passes test suite
    4) works

Hi Ryan,

epix-1.0.7 is good to go stable from my point of view. Hence please feel free to
CC all arches to get this bug resolved.

Thanks,
Markus
