Description Santiago M. Mola (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-12 17:16:33 UTC
Description from its web:

*****
Bloboats is an arcade-like boat racing game contributing to the Assembly '06 game development
competition in the hybrid spirit of SMB-like platform jumpers and elasto mania / xmoto like
motocross-I'm-faster-than-you games.

The objective of Bloboats is to reach MS Enterprise as fast as possible to save if from
the hands of the terrible Tentacle Monsters of an Unknown Master and the same time beat your friend
and laugh at his or her puny time.

The journey starts from a place called Tutorial, somewhere in the United States, and somehow the player
ends up in the famous HV-Arena of Helsinki. During the trip a number of MS Enterprises are saved,
luckily, from the hands of the terrible Tentacle Monsters of an Unknown Master, who actually is your dad.
Or then ain't. :-)

It works fine for me (on amd64 arch ;-)). Will this ebuild be added to "official" portage tree?

Thanks for information

bloboats-1.0.1.ebuild

Updated ebuild from Sunrise.

This package has been in the overlay since 2006 August and has proven to work fine and being stable. I still have an obscure bug with redrawing after the window loses focus, but it's likely to be related to some other broken stuff on my system (since no one with any distro has managed to reproduce it) and it's not critical anyways. All feedback I recieved about this package was positive.

I don't know if it is because I have restarted my computer since I have installed it or it is because I have update my kernel from 2.6.34-r1 to 2.6.34-r6 but the game runs now properly.
