As per the title, apparently this has been an issue since 107.1 at least but people get it mixed up with the -java issue. Also see this bug:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126414 (unrelated but proves other people are having this same issue and getting it confused with the -java one).
