I'd like to suggest a version bump immediately for imagemagick to ImageMagick-6.2.8-6. The problem appears to be with the png.c code in imagemagick which causes a symbol lookup error like this: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/ImageMagick-6.2.8/modules-Q16/coders/png.so: undefined symbol: png_get_asm_flags The patches are detailed here: http://mail-index.netbsd.org/pkgsrc-bugs/2006/04/21/0014.html and here: http://www.archivesat.com/ImageMagick_Developer_List/thread658607.htm I have examined the 6.2.8-6 version and it appears to have the patch described in the above links. All that needs to be done is a version bump.
