i noticed i am getting a string or errors at boot that look like... udevd-event[3608]: run_program: exec of program '/lib/udev/vol_id' failed this is repeated a dozen of so times then i get the * Finalized udev configuration .... i couldnt find anything in bugs or the forums that was exactly like this but i did ln -s /sbin/vol_id /lib/udev/vol_id and rebooted... that error went away and was replaced by errors similar but included other things like ata_id,path_id,edd_id etc... any suggestions as to what is causing this ?
