aight, we are all running nvidia-glx ;) what happens when you guys run `opengl-update xfree; frozen-bubble` ? does it work then ?
Works fine when using xfree glx :\
Apparently there are issues with either SDL and NV GLX or with SDL-Perl and NV GLX. Not sure which yet. Seems that isn't the only problem though, frozen-bubble freezes seconds into the game for some reason. Can't speculate as to why this happens.
-ns (no sound) seems to fix it, so something is possibly wrong with sdl-mixer on my system (or in general..)
TuxRacer works with NV GLX and SDLmixer, so therefore sdl-perl or frozen-bubble itself must be the problem. I chose TuxRacer as a test of SDLmixer because it uses the same form of audio as frozen-bubble: mikmod mixed background music with wav sound effects mixed in. It was also an effective demonstration that SDL and NV GLX were not broken together.
Running 'opengl-update xfree' fixed the problem for me. I'm running with the nvidia drivers.

ok, i added a warning about the segfaults + nvidia to the ebuild
this is supposed to be solved? just by adding a note for nvidia driver users? ah common, there must be a more convenient way to solve this.
