Hi. I get a warning in each file when building busybox-1.1.3: warning: SSE instruction set disabled, using 387 arithmetics This is probably due to having "-mfpmath=sse" in CFLAGS. Probably a filter-flags should go to the ebuild, as I believe the instructions are disabled deliberately. Rudo. i dont see the bug
OK, let me elaborate. When certain setting (-mfpmath=sse) is in the CFLAGS, the compiler prints a warning when compiling each and every file. While the resulting binaries are okay, I do consider this behavior a bug nevertheless. To reproduce, add -mfpmath=sse to CFLAGS in /etc/make.conf and emerge busybox. What do you mean by "i dont see the bug" -- are you unable to reproduce, OR do you think that printing the same warning for each file is not a bug?
i dont see it as being a bug
