I do have the updated "kde.eclass" but it did not fix this problem... at least not for me :-(
Comment 3 David Watzke 2006-07-06 10:32:01 UTC
This is not DUPLICATE and it is _not_ RESOLVED FIXED.

patch to solve this. (is this correct method to solve this?)
Comment 5 Michael Helmling 2006-09-25 10:39:57 UTC
I still have that problem even with your patch:

*** YOU'RE USING automake (GNU automake) 1.9.6.
*** KDE requires automake 1.6

Why is this bug marked RESOLVED????

This is a different problem.

My patch only solve the problem with autoconf and autoheader (bacause 2.6 is in the 2.5 slot).
I don't think you can chance the dep of kde from automake 1.6 to automake 1.9, in my system I have both (and a lot of versions sloted) installed. Look if you have automake sloted.

Completely unrelated. Plus, the patch for autoconf-2.60 has been in kde.eclass for ages.

Closing.
