I fixed it manually with the following I reemerged nvidia-glx and I noticed that the symbolic links in /usr/lib64/opengl/xorg-x11/lib/ were not set correctly. I put them to : lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 Jul 2 14:24 libGL.so -> /usr/lib64/libGL.so.1 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 Jul 2 14:24 libGL.so.1 -> /usr/lib64/libGL.so.1 I hope it helps.
Some kind of side effect of running ~ packages that's probably been fixed since. Glad you've gotten it working.
