Description Christian Parpart (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-12 00:41:30 UTC
Hi,

this is something I miss since a very loooong time.
my distfiles directory is growing about 3 gigabyte, with (of course) containing obsolete
duplicates. Unfortunately searching for them (to be deleted) by hand is everything but
trivial. Emerge knows about the required information to automatically delete obsolete
packages in distfiles and (probably using another flag) obsolete binary packages.

Many thanks,
Christian Parpart.
