The /etc/conf.d/bacula-all file has SERVICES="bacula-fd bacula-sd bacula-dir". The /etc/init.d/bacula-all initscript wants names like "fd" instead of "bacula-fd". The conf.d file should have SERVICES="fd sd dir" instead. As it is now, when you run /etc/init.d/bacula, nothing starts at all. So it fails to do what one expects, and it does so quietly. After changing the SERVICES line as suggested, all three bacula services start. -Paul
