Description Paul Bredbury 2006-06-21 17:33:14 UTC
Hi, here is an ebuild for a collection of high-resolution Quake 2 textures.

It works with qudos (even with just the quake2-demodata maps), but quake2-icculus ignores it.

The download is 116mb.

quake2-textures-0_beta8.ebuild

The textures in that first ebuild were for Quake 1 - oops. These textures work with qudos *and* quake2-icculus. But, I'm hoping for a better collection to become available.

Added to CVS...

We really need to get this tested before we can have quake2-icculus depend on it. Either that, or I have to use.mask the textures USE flag on every architecture until it goes stable, which isn't very optimal, either.

Please look at these textures http://www-personal.umich.edu/~jimw/q2/. Maybe we can merge these two sets together?
