HPLIP doesn't seem to work as it should. hp-makeuri <ip> just returns an error and hp-setup <ip> causes hpssd.py to die consistently. Neither of these commands cause any network activity towards the printer (tracing with Ethereal reveals 0 packets transmitted/received).
