I have compiled 2.6.17-gentoo-sources. When I try and compile net-wireless/rtl8180 for the r8180 module I get the following error message. Following further is my emerge --info. Is this a gentoo problem or an upstream problem? The complete error output has been posted on the forum link. Note that the output of emerge --info was taken with my old kernel. The only difference is the kernel version. !!! ERROR: net-wireless/rtl8180-0.22_pre20050528 failed.
