Here is an ebuild for the so-called "findlib" utility for building/installing O'Caml packages. Before I clean up all the other ebuilds to use this, I would like to have some input on the proper package name (wrt. portage). As I see it there are a few options: - dev-ml/findlib: This seems the most natural since the library itself it called "findlib", but there is a small potential for name clashes. - dev-ml/ocamlfind: This is the name of the executable (and also indicates that the library is an O'Caml library). - dev-ml/ocaml-findlib: Contains the proper name of the library and also avoids name clashes while indicating that it is an O'Caml library. Which one of these would you prefer? (Just add a comment, and I'll update the ebuild accordingly.)

Hi Bardur. Thank you for the submission! Looks like there already is a name clash. Well, not exactly a name but rather a package clash ;). I have processed and committed dev-ml/findlib in Dec (same version). Still, thank for your participation. George *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 11399 ***
