Description Sean Davidson 2006-06-14 06:27:38 UTC
If I exclude berkdb from the build with USE=-berkdb kdeaddons-3.5.3
compiles fine.  I emerged sys-libs/db-{1.85-r2 3.2.9-r10 4.2.52_p2-r1}
again before kdeaddons-3.5.3 and it still fails.

Comment 1 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-14 06:38:15 UTC
I'm curious why this is failing; everything seems to be right in the ebuild.

Did you have a previous kdeaddons installed using berkdb?
Comment 2 Sean Davidson 2006-06-14 09:28:04 UTC
Yes it had built previously and then after the ebuild update to rev 1.3 it
started failing. Maybe there was an incompatible change to the inherited
db-use or sys-libs/db-4.2.52_p2-r1 that is causing this. I have all three
sys-libs/db's installed (db-1.85-r2  db-3.2.9-r10  db-4.2.52_p2-r1).
Comment 3 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-14 15:33:13 UTC
I broke it - as bad as I could. :(
