Description Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2003-01-10 09:35:51 UTC
I emerged evolution-1.2.1 yesterday, and it seems to be really buggy.
It freezes after few seconds et all the menu entry with accent are not ar bad
displayed (I use French language).

there workaround to correct the both errors is

export LANG="C"
export LANGUAGE="C"
export LC_ALL="C"
evolution&

I had the same when I tried 1.2.0 few weeks ago.

I am encountering the same phenomenon. I am a german user and half of my button
labels and menu entries are missing when using LANG="de_DE@euro ". Setting
LANG="de_DE" works, but then I cannot use the Euro sign.

Evolution is basically broken for me.

The workaround works for me, but all the letters with accent are replace by a
very weird caracter.
Comment 6 Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2003-01-11 09:08:17 UTC
The workaround, works only with the main interface, but the labels are missing
at least in the contextual menu, the preferences section, the filter section.

it's really ennoying.

Thanks for the people that will correct this.
