Well, 2.1 final has been released.  Please test it and mark it stable if everything's alright.  The NEWS and RELEASE-NOTES that are included with it should let you know about any important changes.  Note that this depends on bug 135427 for the pax-utils dependency.  Also, gentoolkit-0.2.2 needs to be stabled for bug 135068.  Thanks!

portage-2.1 USE="-build -doc" LINGUAS="-pl" works fine for me on x86.

The code had been in a stablization phase for over a month with constant testing of all the changes in ~arch 2.1_rc* releases.  After that, there was no doubt in my mind that it was safe to be marked stable.

Arch teams are free to ignore the maintainers request and wait, if you want to.  That is your perogitive as an arch team.
