Patch will be attached. Note that I haven't tested if it actually works, the daemon is running, though. Will report later.

Hi Samuli, I'm not an ebuild developer and thus haven't access to the gentoo-x86 repo. I haven't touched the box where this daemon runs for quite a long time, so it's possible that the start-stop-daemon line might need further tweaking to keep up with baselayout.

Can we get this fixed? Running third-party binary-only crap as root is not a sane idea...

Fixed in 3.0.3, where it runs as the user ventrilo (created when the package is installed)
