Description Joe Millenbach 2006-05-28 22:37:48 UTC
With gentoolkit v0.2.2-rc1 installed I did a revdep-rebuild of my system and noticed that 3 libraries in /usr/lib64/ were owned by vlc, but that the same 3 libraries in /usr/lib/ were not owned by anyone. The package was still recognized and rebuilt, but I figure this would be a good thing to fix (just in case).

I'm not sure what caused this to need to be rebuilt, but it may have been the new flac that I just updated to. Sorry, but I don't know where to see old revdep logs (to get exact name of those 3 libs).

Delete them and move on... We can't do anything about files installed by Mr. Unknown. sorry...

Not an ebuild problem, reopen to dupe.
