The attached patch drops the extra qualifications that make GCC 4.1 fail to build pgadmin3. After this I can build pgadmin3 fine with GCC 4.1.0-r1 on amd64. HTH, Diego

The newest version (1.4.2) compiled without a patch on my x86 with gcc-4.1.0-r1
Worked fine for me with gcc-4.1.1
Could this be bumped to 1.4.3 please?
