Description Lars Weiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-12 10:04:10 UTC
Although this might be a 'ricer-bug' I want to note it.

Any coreutils-version >5.3 does not compile a working touch on ppc with gcc-4.1/glibc-2.4. I receive this error:

elrohir / # touch foo
touch: setting times of `foo': Function not implemented

As touch is important for portage, nothing new can be compiled.

Furthermore the emerge --info of this chroot I'm testing in:
elrohir / # emerge --info

your /proc is unmounted

Thanks, that was right. I didn't mount /proc in that chroot. And somehow I couldn't find the other bug about the problem...
