gramps, the genealogical research and analysis management programming system,
will not build with pygtk-1.99. I tried to install pygtk 0.6.9 but same errors.
New, testing versions of gramps-gnome2 are available at gramps.sf.net. With a
little "fixing" of the old ebuild-file I got the new version to install.

Thanks Helge, I downloaded gramps-0.9.0-rc4.tar.gz and then I made a new digest
with your ebuild and it works fine (some py plugins don't load but it works).

There is a problem with 0.9.0-pre8 and the latest testing version 0.9.0-rc5, concerning adding images and thumbnail creation.  This has been fixed in CVS.  If you want to try it, do:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/gramps login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/gramps co gramps2

This should create a gramps2 directory. You should then be able to run:

./autogen.sh
make
make install

With Helge's ebuild, gramps 0.9.O worls well.
