this is an xft2 bug...I'll look into it, but first if --enable-xft is in the ebuild try changing it to --enable-xft2

Brad, to test which one to enable, you could do something like: ------------------------------------------- pkg-config xft \ && myconf="${myconf} --enable-xft2" \ || myconf="${myconf} --enable-xft" ------------------------------------------- Just remember that you will have to depend on x11-utils/pkgconfig ....
