Comment 1 Brad Cowan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-04 19:32:58 UTC
this is an xft2 bug...I'll look into it, but first if --enable-xft is in the
ebuild try changing it to --enable-xft2

Comment 4 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-05 10:16:42 UTC
Brad, to test which one to enable, you could do something like:

-------------------------------------------
pkg-config xft \
    && myconf="${myconf} --enable-xft2" \
    || myconf="${myconf} --enable-xft"
-------------------------------------------

Just remember that you will have to depend on x11-utils/pkgconfig ....
Comment 5 Brad Cowan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-05 14:01:30 UTC
Thx, the --enable-xft2 thing seems to work here, and thanks for the test
....learned a new tool :), anyway I'm gonna commit as a new revision
Comment 6 Voicu Liviu 2003-01-06 00:34:04 UTC
