Valgrind supplies suppression files in /usr/lib/valgrind. There are at least two issues: - a new rule for suppressing _dl_relocate_object would be fine for glibc*.supp and default.supp, since these occur frequently - Python suppressions are not installed in this directory. It would be very good, if those were available too (please see http://svn.python.org/projects/python/branches/release24-maint/Misc/README.valgrind)
I think it's best if you contact valgrind upstream with these requests. (see http://www.valgrind.org/support/bug_reports.html). If upstream agrees to include these things, it will be available to all valgrind users instead of just Gentoo users.
