Description Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-26 08:52:18 UTC
Please mark the latest versions stable. Stable-compile is currently broken because of 2.6.16 being stable.
Comment 1 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-26 09:10:20 UTC
#1. What versions of each need to be marked stable?
#2. Have you have verified that these versions, do, in fact, compile and work against a 2.6.16 kernel?

Feel free to add the arch teams to CC once these have been completed.

I said latest versions and I meant latest versions:
fritzcapi-2.6.43
fcdsl-2.6.37
slmodem-2.9.11_pre20051101

of course I have. Those have all been fixed for 2.6.16 (can be seen in the changelogs)

slmodem is fixed (see other bug)

Bleh... I had a nice comment written up here, but hit a collision with genstef's latest comment. I don't feel like re-writing it, either.

Anyway, I'm on this for x86.
Comment 5 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-26 10:18:07 UTC
Does amd64 even need to mark these? They don't have a current stable version listed, at all.

Anyway, if they should, then you need to add slmodem back to here, as they'll want it, too. If not, then we can remove them from CC entirely.
Comment 6 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-26 10:27:41 UTC
Right, they have not been stable on amd64

better not make these stable on amd64 then.
