Description James Lademann 2006-04-21 17:38:33 UTC
Came across this trying to automatically start/stop lircd for my USB DVB box. This feature apparently isn't used too much but, the REMOVER variable is set using readlink. Problem is that as it's reading something that no longer exists it doesn't come up with anything and the REMOVER script is not run. Found a patch on the linux-hotplug-devel mailinglist archive to fix it. Found this problem in version 20040923-r2 and probably is present in most versions?
