Kernel Modules Configuring the Modules You should list the modules you want automatically loaded in /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.4 (or kernel-2.6). You can add extra options to the modules too if you want. I should be able to add options to modules in this file (f.e. bttv card=72 tuner=5), but it doesn't work - modules are loading but with no options. I had to create oprions in /etc/modules.d/ . Is it mistake ?. This mistake exist also in my native translation (pl).
(In reply to comment #0) Are you using an unstable version of udev? The udev guide is for stable versions. BTW, looks like this is related to bug #129047 ; please see that bug for what's likely going on.
