Description fabio de francesco 2006-04-12 06:06:05 UTC
The message in Summary is being written in ~/.xsession-errors about 2/3 times per second. That file grows to many megabytes in a few days, filled up only of the above-mentioned messages, so I have to remove it.

Don't know if it can help but I also see that "nspluginviewer" shows a strange high CPU activity. With "top" I see more than 10%-15% CPU time consumption.

Thank you.
Comment 1 fabio de francesco 2006-04-12 06:18:13 UTC
I have killed "nspluginviewer" because of that high CPU time usage. Anyway ~/.xsession-errors continues to grow, so that program has got nothing to do with this issue.

In the last 2 hours the file has grown about 4 MB!!!

Thank you.

So don't use i8kutils with Dell hardware that it doesn't support. Bug Dell for better Linux support.

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140995 seems like a pretty simple fix ...

Yes it seems, but we have no power to test it on those compilers, so feel free to test it and commit it. :]
