Description Klaus Kusche 2002-12-29 15:04:08 UTC
I run gentoo on a laptop with a 1600*1200 display. For that reason, I've
replaced my /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/cursor.pcf.gz with a version
containing much larger cursor symbols (don't know the origin of the larger
version - I think it comes with the KDE desktop in most dist's, but I don't have
KDE on this box).

The problem is that each emerge of xfree overwrites this file with the original
one, resulting in tiny cursors. I know that this is the way it is expected to
work, but it is annoying, anyway. Is there any way to make this change
permanent, or to provide the big cursors with the xfree emerge?
