I have it at version 1.91. This was initial version 2 development and there is also a 2.0-beta version available.

I did not make xmame and xmess dependancies since it can be an either/or choice. Perhaps useflags?

Added some newbie info.

And yes, it is very similar to gxmame but looks better with KDE. :)
