after adding mplayerplug-in firefox crashes opening web pages or

i have no debug symbols but...

it's pretty clear.

removing the mplayerplug-in files fixed the crash (of course no more mplayer stream now)

This isn't a problem with mplayerplug-in, it's a problem with your CFLAGS.  -fvisibility-inlines-hidden is broken for most C++ apps.
