Description johnathan spectre 2002-12-24 09:56:23 UTC
emerge app-emulation/advancemame results in the following error during
configuration on my stock 1.4_rc1 system:

checking for g++... g++
checking for adler32 in -lz... yes
checking whether byte ordering is bigendian... no
checking whether gcc accepts Pentium assembler... yes
checking for i686-pc-linux-gnu-sdl-config... no
configure: error: The sdl-config script is required for the "sdl" system

!!! ERROR: app-emulation/advancemame-0.61.1 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 11, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed

sdl-config IS installed though:

(eggs) /tmp # which sdl-config
/usr/bin/sdl-config

and I am able to run the configure by hand, so it's only during the emerge process.

I fixed this yesterday or the day before ... Please rsync and verify.

This is fixed.
Comment 3 Graeme Humphries 2004-01-10 11:08:00 UTC
I rsynced today, and I'm still getting this (or a similar) error:

checking for i686-pc-linux-gnu-sdl-config... no
configure: error: the i686-pc-linux-gnu-sdl-config tool is missing

libsdl-1.2.6-r3, advancemame-0.77.2.
