Could someone provide an ebuild for gpredict? Thanks.

Created attachment 92801 [details] gpredict-0.5.99.5 ebuild Here's one for the latest development snapshot (gtk+ 2, no GNOME). Installs README etc. uncompressed and probably should depend on cairo.

Created attachment 100982 [details] gpredict-0.6.1.ebuild Hi, I updated the ebuild provided by Chris Mayo to version 0.6.1 (which is a stable release) and I would like to report that I successfully emerged it on my system (amd64). These are the small modifications I made: 1)I renamed the ebuild to gpredict-0.6.1.ebuild . 2)I changed DESCRIPTION to be a little more descriptive. 3)I changed the HOMEPAGE to http://groundstation.sourceforge.net/gpredict/ . which seems to be more correct. 4)I added the ~amd64 keyword. P.S. This is my first bugzilla entry, excuse me if I made any mystake. :(
Created attachment 116640 [details] gpredict-0.7.1 ebuild This is the ebuild which is currently in Sunrise.
gpredict 0.8.0 released: Changes in version 0.8.0 (2007-06-03): - Implemented simulated real-time and manual time control in addition to real-time control. Each module has now its own time controller. - Sky at a glance pass prediction mode. - Background map selector. Use either stock maps or own maps of any size. - Adjust position of satellite names on the map in order to avoid clipping of the labels when the sat is close to the map border. - Allow user to explicitly select DEFAULT ground station even after a new ground station is selected as default (bug #1656943). - Allow users to specify ground station LAT and LON with up to four decimal digits. - Fixed a bug that prohibited showing of satellite names in the single-sat view when the satellite name contained an '&' character (bug #1644926). - Fixed a bug that prevented the "Enable rules hint in list views" setting to be disabled (bug #1728575). - Fixed a bug in the pass prediction code that could cause crashes when there were no passes with max_el greater than the required elevation. - Improved robustness of prediction code to avoid UI freeze when satellites have no passes in the near future. - Fixed more memory leaks.
I just version-bumped the Sunrise ebuild filename to 0.8.0 and installed. Works well so far - set home groiundstation location, updated from network fine. This is on x86. Now, I can go out for my first satellite chasing skyview event in style. ;)
Bumped in Sunrise, but it is failing tests, so I will look into it.
Created attachment 134512 [details] gpredict-0.9.0.ebuild update version enable coverage reports need curl
Created attachment 135365 [details] gpredict-0.9.0 ebuild 0.9.0 bump with coverage USE flag and curl dependency now in Sunrise. Also made goocanvas a dep instead of having gpredict build it. Thanks Francisco!
add ~amd64, it's Run fine
Ping. We're up to 1.1, seems stable on x86. 1.1 version seems to be lacking a few features which have been only in CVS (tracking), and am thinking of making a 9999 version ebuild.
Created attachment 218929 [details] gpredict-9999.ebuild This successfully pulls, patches, and autoconfigs the gpredict svn version. However, on configure, I get the following error: ... config.status: creating data/satdata/Makefile config.status: creating data/trsp/Makefile config.status: error: cannot find input file: `po/Makefile.in.in' ... at this point, this appears more of an upstream bug, even though the version 9999 ebuild works. If anybody knows of a quick hack I can use to finish compiling & installing to complete testing of this version 9999 ebuild, please let me know!
Created attachment 219039 [details] gpredict-9999.ebuild Seemed to have hacked around this and got it working with the following sequence of steps: intltoolize --force --copy --automake || die "intltoolize failed" eautoreconf || die "eautoreconf failed" It looks like I've got a good compile & install of gpredict subversion now.
gpredict-1.1 is now in the tree. +*gpredict-1.1 (13 Jul 2010) + + 13 Jul 2010; Thomas Beierlein <tomjbe@gentoo.org> +gpredict-1.1.ebuild, + +files/gpredict-1.1-doc.patch, +metadata.xml: + Initial portage version. Moved from sunrise. Bug #125342
As 1.3 is in the tree I am closing the bug.
