Description Larry Mitchell 2002-12-18 11:05:54 UTC
This is being posted for someone else

"the freeswan package uses /etc/ipsec/ to install config files, but the ipsec
scripts & binaries expect stuff in /etc/ - you could also note "has anybody ever
tested freeswan or is that just a ''feature''"

<c0ffee> Dec 18 14:49:59 [pluto] Starting Pluto (FreeS/WAN Version 1.98b)
<c0ffee> Dec 18 14:49:59 [pluto] including X.509 patch (Version 0.9.13)
<c0ffee> Dec 18 14:49:59 [pluto] Could not change to directory
'/etc/ipsec.d/cacerts'
<c0ffee> Dec 18 14:49:59 [pluto] Could not change to directory '/etc/ipsec.d/crls'
<c0ffee> Dec 18 14:49:59 [pluto] could not open my default X.509 cert file
'/etc/x509cert.der'
<c0ffee> but the freeswan executables search for config in /etc
<c0ffee> it's /etc/ipsec/ipsec.d for gentoo
