Have emerged Boinc 5.2.14 and succesfully added rosetta to my projects, Boinc requests work and rosetta responds with "platform x86_64-pc-linux-gnu not found"

Not sure what rosetta is, but boinc needs the project to supply a binary for your architecture in order to run it. If rosetta is open source it may be possible to compile one for your architecture, and in that case request an ebuild for the project but as it stands this is an upstream issue. Boinc facilitates the number crunching performed by numerous projects.
