Description Byeong-taek Lee 2006-02-15 01:47:00 UTC
I am using openoffice 2.0.1 on ppc.
Everything works fine except exporting word format file.
When i save some file as word format file, it hangs and finally I must kill openoffice.
When i run the program on terminal and openoffice crashes, I look at the following message.

*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid next size (normal): 0x109a9680 ***

specific error message depends upon when i export it.
for example, instead of free(), the messages appears with malloc() and so on.
Interestingly, ppt exporting works fine.
After I encounter this error, I reemerged almost everything including glibc with simple CFLAGS (-02 -pipe -mtune=G3).
here is my emerge information.

Can't reproduce on x86, so maybe some input from the ppc-herd?
Comment 2 Luca Barbato gentoo-dev 2006-03-14 01:13:27 UTC
Can reproduce it but cannot track it

I can give you an account to the pegII in order to test yourself

I tested with openoffice-2.0.3 and had no problems.
