Description Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2006-01-29 04:44:34 UTC
Running portage 2.1_pre4 on OSX with bash 2.05b.0(1)-release results in:

/usr/lib/portage/bin/ebuild.sh: line 288: shopt: extdebug: invalid shell option name

Maybe this can be made conditional on bash version? Otherwise I think portage 2.1 should depend on >=bash-3.
Comment 1 Brian Harring (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-29 04:46:17 UTC
It is conditional... shouldn't be dieing either, we should just be piping the output to devnull offhand.

*nudge* if this is actually breaking things, state so please- atm, it's just ugly output for <3.0

Released in 2.1_pre5.
