i have -3dnow in my use flags... but regardless to this, files are compiled with these options:
-DUSE_X86_ASM -DUSE_MMX_ASM -DUSE_3DNOW_ASM -DUSE_KATMAI_ASM

Notice the '-DUSE_3DNOW_ASM"  definitely a bug (i hope)

This is not a bug, as the ebuild never disables it explicitly.
