I'm using xfce4.2.2.
application name on taskbar is not cut off and the name overlaps next application name.so, it looks like this
|[xxxx][xyxyxyyyy][zzzz]|   <- taskbar
(aplication "xxxxxxxxx" is overlaps with "yyyyyyyyy")

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. startxfce4
2. start some application(it has long title name) 
3. see taskbar
