The Knights themepack is installed in /usr/kde/3/share/apps/knights/themes, but Knights seems to look for the themes in /usr/share/apps/knights/themes. When I move the themes to the later directory, the themes become available. Two additional minor issues: 1) The owner of the themes is nobody. IMHO, root might be a better choice, since nobody is used to run daemons. This will give any daemon running as nobody access to the themes. Assuming there is nothing executable in the theme this isn't serious. 2) In /usr/kde/3/share/apps/knights/themes, there is a directory called knights_themepack* which is assigned a use number 501. IMHO, the owner should be root; however, the directory should probably be removed anyway.
Can you re-emerge knights and check now. You'll see that the theme is still in the same place but now the program looks there for them plus you'll notice that the permission problems are corrected too. Please confirm we can close this bug. Thanks, Bart
Everything is fine. Thanks.
