Hi I've made an ebuild for the user space "Mobile IPv6" tools for Linux WIth these tools and a properly patched kernel you can enable mobility support on an ipv6 network (the mipv6 patch against 2.6 can be found at http://mobile-ipv6.org/software/, it may be also included in some gentoo patched kernels) I suggest net-misc/mipv6 cheers ! Feel free to reopen this bug once the patch is accepted upstream.
Mobile IPv6 support has been present in the Linux kernel for quite a while (at least since 2013) now, so I believe that it is about time to provide the userland stuff as well.
