Description Anders K. Pedersen 2005-12-18 06:27:50 UTC
mail-client/evolution currently has a dependency on mail-filter/spamassassin in RDEPEND, and if spamassassin is available, evolution is able to use it to filter junk, but spamassassin is *not* required to run evolution.

I, for one, have no need for spamassassin (on my workstation) as all my email accounts have server-side spam filters.

My proposed fix is to add a USE flag "spamassassin" (which is already used by other ebuilds) to evolution, and unless this USE flag is present, evolution will not require spamassassin.
