Description jake hawkes 2005-12-14 11:10:36 UTC
Half way through an "emerge -e" and I have had several interruptions. The
latest is that certain packages are not compiling with FEATURES="ccache"
enabled. This is the latest one to do so.

If I remove FEATURES="ccache" it compiles fine. If I add it, I get:

I have tried clearing the ccache "ccache -C" but that did not help.

Comment 1 jake hawkes 2005-12-14 14:09:40 UTC
More info - this is not a problem with gq - its a problem with ccache and maytbe
distcc. Other packages are starting to fail to compile as well.
Comment 2 Lisa Seelye (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-14 14:12:43 UTC
Is NFS involved on anything here by any chance?
Comment 3 jake hawkes 2005-12-15 09:40:56 UTC
no NFS. It seems that some combination of distcc and ccache is causing the
problem, even if there are no other distcc hosts available (i.e. only localhost)
Comment 4 Mark Loeser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-25 22:20:47 UTC
This package has been removed from the tree.
