the most recent ebuild for amaroK, 1.3.7 fails with a lot of xsl errors. I had libxslt-1.1.14-r2 installed, updated to 1.1.15. amaroK compiles nicely. A missing dep in the ebuild? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
So - upgrade? 1.1.15 is stable across the board (besides, amarok does not depend on libxslt directly).
(In reply to comment #1) > So - upgrade? 1.1.15 is stable across the board (besides, amarok does not depend > on libxslt directly). Yup, an easy solution. But still, I think the ebuild should be updated to update the required dependency.
(In reply to comment #1) > So - upgrade? 1.1.15 is stable across the board (besides, amarok does not depend > on libxslt directly). USE="-*" emerge -evp amarok would compile libxslt
(In reply to comment #3) > USE="-*" emerge -evp amarok would compile libxslt And? amarok does *not* directly depend on libxslt (see the ebuild), so there's nothing to fix in amarok ebuild; libxslt-1.1.15 is stable. I can't see any bug here, closing.
