I had added 'hardened' to my system and recompiled the ebuilds that used it. When I tried to upgrade to xorg-x11-6.8.2-r6 I got the below error. When I tried to downgrade to r4, I still got the error. I removed hardened and recompiled everything and r4 works again. I tried using -bitmap-fonts with the hardened system, but that didn't matter at all. Uhm, also you should switch your profile to hardened (which has dlloader in default use flag, among others).
