Right now, I only see Gentoo Linux. Cygwin seems extremely slow for me, so I wondered if it would be possible to port Gentoo to it. After some thought, it seems that Portage is platform-independent (or could be made that way) and all that's needed is somebody to manage it. Also, I was going to try HURD at some point, but it has even less software than Mac! I certainly don't expect any binary distros (like RedHat, Debian, Etc.) to port, but it would probably be a lot easier to port a source-based distro, especially since so many programs say that they should compile and run on "any *nix". So how about it? Anyone for multi-platform Gentoo?
just FYI...Debian has a hurd version.
This is not a bug report.
