emerge mplayer installs SDL then mplayer. However, it doesn't run ldconfig in
between, or something? It didn't detect SDL. I aborted, ran ldconfig and reran.
Then it worked. This is probably a problem throughout and should be corrected
ASAP, since this will really break dependency builds.

fixed in cvs for 2.0.45
